The DT 1990 is better balanced and while still sibilant, it’s not like the DT 990. The DT 900 has more in common with the 1990 (without being so sibilant) then with the 990. If you don’t want to spend a lot of money but you still want to experience the Beyer sound, the the DT 900 are a very good choice. If your wallet allows it, get the DT
